  Michelle Sarah is a Colorado-based singer-songwriter celebrated for her explosive vocals, boundless creative energy, and a seamless fusion of soul, funk and R&B. Born in Toronto and raised between Guyana, South America and the United States, Michelle’s musical roots were cultivated in the church, where gospel laid the foundation for her commanding voice and deeply emotive performances. Her electrifying stage presence and powerhouse vocals have earned her a loyal and growing fan base, along with accolades from renowned musicians across genres.

  After moving to Colorado late fall of 2017, Michelle has firmly put down her roots in Denver, assembling an all-star band to back her on the road. With her solo project's new lineup, the captivating songstress finds herself supported by guitarist DJ Williams (Karl Denson's Tiny Universe), bassist Dan Africano (Theivery Corporation, John Brown's Body, Ghost Light), keys player Eric Luba (Analog Son), drummer Eric Imbrosciano (Jaden Carlson Band), trombone player Scott Flynn (Odesza), and trumpet player Paris Flemming (Harry Styles).

  Michelle has shared the stage with an impressive roster of iconic artists and bands, including members of the Grateful Dead, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Meters, Galactic, Pretty Lights, Lettuce, and Soulive. She has collaborated with key players in the soul, funk, jam, jazz, and EDM scenes, and her talent has graced renowned and legendary venues like Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheater, Blue Note, The Fillmore, Bonnaroo, New Orleans Jazz Fest, and Jam Cruise. 

  With a voice that captivates and a presence that commands, Michelle Sarah continues to leave an indelible mark on the live music scene, pushing creative boundaries and forging soulful connections with every performance.
